I don't like the hard hitter tree for a coverage LB (maybe Aura and Diving tackle could be useful) and I don't like the pass rusher tree (swat ball is ok, but I would have to invest into shed block, which has a penalty)
Do you think, buying a +1 to any of those trees can be useful to a coverage LB ?
And if yes, which one would you take ?

I used to like the pass rusher tree, obviously for swat but shed blocks helped a lot when you didn't want to take strength over 70. With the penalty, that's much less of an option now imo. I think HH is a decent possibility, but I don't know that it's really worth it. For a LOLB that makes a lot of tackles and has good tackling, even without high strength, MH can be fairly helpful, DT is definitely a good SA for LBs.

ive tried both and prefer hard hitter. it gives you a couple morale SAs (as weak as they may be) and MH is helpful. defensive general and big sack are both wastes so you gotta tough decision either way.
