OH! Ohoho! You had to bring that up didn't you! Just had to! Fuckit man, i have said time in and time out, no other team went 18-0 in a single season. NOT 1! NOT A SINGLE TEAM! AND No team has ever gone 16-0 in a season. I am so freakin tired of people degrading the greatest team i have ever seen or heard about. And Belechick made a mistake. One i am sure he regrets, DEEPLY. He is still a Hall of Fame quality coach. The only reason people were all up in arms about it was because the patriots kept fu**ing beating their teams!

Do you REALLY think that Belechick regrets doing what he did? He is a brash, cocky SOB that doesn't really believe that the rules that everyone else (admittedly) pretends to adhere to apply to him. To think that he regrets one moment of it is just as FANatical as any other FANatic!

Look, I'm actually a rogue Bears fan living in Massachusetts, but I get annoyed at the way people get their kicks out of bashing the Patriots and Belichek.

Bill Belichick is under the impression that he's paid to win football games and championships for the people that pay his salary. It's obvious from looking at the man and his actions that he doesn't think his job is to look good for the media and opposing fans. It's also pretty obvious that some of those media he doesn't care about it are vindicative enough to make a cottage industry out of spinning every PR misstep the man makes into a firestorm. Look how Matt Walsh still makes it into the news by trotting out the same stupid tapes. I'm angry at these people for forcing me to defend the coach of a team I don't really care for (although I admit they're a second behind the team of ditka) but the man has made it clear that the only thing he cares about is winning, and it irks me that the press is out to kill him.

So I ask you again, do you really think he regrets doing what he did? I think he regrets getting caught and, if you read the whole sentence, I think a lot of other coaches do the same thing.

If the answer to that last question is "yes, I believe he thinks the rules apply to him" then why did he ignore the memo sent out to all teams regarding taping the other teams signals (which, allegedly, was sent out because of allegations directed at the Patriots)?

If you want to stoop to name calling then so be it, but, for a change, I decided not to bash the Patriots (as I usually do - ask Rhuin /poke) and rather call into question whether or not Belicheck really regrets what he did. IMO he regrets getting caught, not doing what he did....

Do you personally know Bill? Because you really seem like you just know all about him through and through. He is one of the greatest coaches ever for any sport. I would be fucking cocky if i was one of the greatest coaches ever. If my team never lost, HELL i would be brash. I think he made a mistake. And i think he regrets getting caught MORE than doing it. But honestly, he was only caught because he:
a. wasn't as good at it as other coaches doing it
b. his team was freaking amazing, and when people suceed there will be jealousy and dirt will be found out about them.

i guess what i want to know is if you really care that Bill cheated and doesn't regret it all that much? Or are you simply degrading the patriots like many other jealous FANatics. If it is the second one, i don't want to discuss this any further. but if you really believe that what Bill did takes away from he DID, then boy do i have a bone to pick with you

This argument you are using can easily be turned back on you. Do you really know "Bill" From the familiarity it would seem you do!

I think I am going to let this drop because obviously asking a simple question and stating what my personal line of thought on the matter really struck a nerve and set you off on a tirade about how I think what he did diminished what the Patriots did. Instead I think Ill just tell you I think the Patriots are a classy organization and they are top notch in my book!
