Think about this - the more popular this game has become, it stands to reason the more profitable it has become. And associated with that has Bort been less and less concerned with the feedback of the player base.

To return the power, you simply need to vote with your wallet.

UCLA, you shouldn't leave. That accomplishes nothing. What you SHOULD do is play with house money. Use only the flex returned to you on retirement. Play a few seasons with numerous players and free flex, Bort will wonder where the money has gone and what he needs to do to encourage you to buy more of it.

This game's economy works two ways. Use it to your advantage.

I agree with you Josh! Im not paying another dime for flex, im playing until my flex runs out then if the game is in the same state, im done! Got to agree with you also UCLA, this has just gotten stupid now. As if we dont already all spend enough time on here gameplanning. Seriously im glad i got rid of my team when i did, i would have had to quit my real job just to have enough time on here to run my team, they really have NO CLUE what it takes owning a team and keeping it competitive and atop a league.

Seriously dude. I put so many hours into my team, and we still suck. I can't even imagine the time it takes putting together an awesome team.

Sure you do, that's why you made a player with Muskie and me!

I think Wildfire is an awesome team, and we had a 150 post topic up to gameplan to CPL conference championship game last season. I spent 2 hours / game for many seasons, and we had about 10 active staff contributors looking at top builds, mathematical strategy, etc. It took 4 seasons of careful financial planning to afford all equip for anybody no questions asked. Etc.

Combined hours / day of the team was probably 50 for many seasons.

And now it's supposed to take even longer?

I believe that major changes were needed if they were going to fix some of the longstanding issues, and that's what these are. Cash was all screwed up, and fixing that means changing things people thought were fine, and I understand that.

The next step needs to be to improve all aspects of the interface and tools to make the game easier to play - but honestly, that should take a backseat to finalizing how the game is played. If those sorts of improvements take too long to get, then the game will see decline as it takes too much effort to stay competitive.
