He single-handedly knocked a team I OC'd out of the playoffs 2 seasons in a row. I despised him...but wished he had joined my team SSSSOOOO MUCH!

We did our best to get him nerfed as much as possible for the sake of realism. But it took awhile before Bort made the changes and he had some very good seasons.

Minesotta Ambush, then they became Hell's Ambush, now the Dirty Limericks. It was in US A, back when Spicewood and Oakland where there. if I remember correctly your first season in A you all rolled the conference but then lost in a shocker in the second round (after beating us as a 1-8) due to an exploit, and then the next season you rolled us all again and played Spicewood in the finals. Looking back now, I see we didn't even mak the playoffs in season 5 so I guess you only bumped us once.

Cav - I have OC'd against Alpine probably 7-8 times and have never mustered much against your D. I'm 0-fer. When I saw your thread in US Pro I will admit to being a slight bit excited as it meant good things for ATKM...but then when I read further and saw you were coming here I realized it gave you an opportunity to beat me 3-4 times in a season instead of just once. LOL.

Good to see you again, Cav. Haven't seen you since we were on the Toxic Avengers.

Yeah that was definitely one of the most fun teams I've been a part of. I think we could have reached World League with that team.

Yea, i was on the Austin Lumberjacks in the western conference that season and i remember seeing chicago pterodactyls beat Alpine and it was a huge shocker. When we played them twice in USA AAA2 we definitely didn't forget the playoff game and used it as bulletin board material.


Yea, it's too bad MW left. He had a bunch of really good dots that were on Alpine's farm team that would probably be in this league now if he stayed around

What happened with the game against Chicago was a freak bug. Some kind of error led to another team's defensive AI being loaded into ours. It was frustrating since we wouldn't have lost that game in a million years with our regular defense.

CTA was a great team and MW a great guy. I haven't talked to him in awhile unfortunately, but I still have the private forum where we used to chat. One of the threads are about 100 pages long
