Is keeping the VA zone specialist a smart move? or is choosing zone focus and putting points in there later on a smarter one? Any opinions?

Depends on the age of the build. Zone Specialist will be removed from the game AFTER season 16. Zone focus does not stack with Zone Specialist either. If your S will not be around in season 17 and beyond there really isn't a point in investing in zone focus if you already have zone specialist. If your S will be around, you should start to invest in zone focus for when zone specialist is removed.

I kept it on my FS lvl 34 and added ZF but I also went Combo to remove the penalties as well. After S16 when they remove it i'll have those VA points for something else and have the new one ready to be used when the time comes.
