No, it's because you are the pre-season favorites. Natural you'd be in the East!

nice to see our farm team (HedgeHOgs) ended up in same conference as us... that's one guaranteed win in regular season and if we can fix the playoff seedings, a bye in the playoffs too. Thanks admins!

I posted a thread asking and the answer was that it was because of the amount of teams promoting up in each conference.

So the AAA teams are more important than the demoting WL teams for some reason.
