I have decided to accept an offer with another team.

This was a difficult decision, I received 20 contract offers and more than 40 messages. Because I value your time, I will try to keep this short BUT I wanted to let you know how I chose a team.

I had to use a spreadsheet to tally all the offers. I had four categories of scores with grades from 1-5: Run Oriented Offense, Starting Job, more than 1 year contract, Quality of Private Message Response. Mavooo of the Portland Rage blew me away with 7 responses to my private messages, starting two days before free agency opened, the second of which was a clearly hand-written response to all my questions that was several paragraphs long. That got the only perfect score of 20 points on my objective scoring metrics, though three other teams had 19 or better. This was tough!!

With all the good owners out there doing excellent recruiting and providing what would have been a great situation for Ironhead Claymore, I knew I really couldn't go wrong, but had to make a call. Looking forward to it.

Having a player in this situation really changed the game for me and made me more interested. Though getting all the offers and interest really was a nightmare because I wanted to be professional and courteous to people and their time being spent on a game. Best I could do was a spreadsheet.
