A lot of people are afraid to lose badly cause they figure they'll look stupid. So they go for some conservative game plan that's guaranteed to lose but lose by 30-40 at worst instead of a daring game plan that might win but will probably lose by a lot.

If you watch our GP you'll see the obvious gamble we took. Truthfully, it was the only way we might have had a shot. Stout is no idiot and guessed that we'd try that D GP.
We took a gamble like that before in the playoffs. In season 7, BKK was the #1 seed and had an unstoppable run game. We sold out for the off tackle right and won 3-0. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose 120-0.
