Totally agree. Now that I think most of our e-peens have shrunk back down to size and the dust has mostly settled I kinda wish we had just had an old-fashioned flame war on our own little USAPL forum. It's like in baseball, the best way to clear the air is to have a couple of players get beaned in the ass, have the teams head out to the middle of the field and dance for a minute or two and then go out and have beers later that night. The worst thing is to have powers that be intervene. Plus, now we won't get to go back to that thread and reminisce.

In my mind - no harm, no foul. May the best team win tomorrow.

Let me emphasize that what I'm about to post is completely serious, and includes zero sarcasm, so that it cannot be misinterpreted by those outside of USA Pro. I'd like to commend those from GHM for actually providing logical and thought-out discussion about what has recently taken place. There was a disagreement, points and counterpoints were made, but nobody flamed/whined/tried to switch the topic of the thread. Considering that 95% of the threads in the forums have no idea that this type of discussion even exists, my respect for those involved with GHM has increased exponentially.

Everyone except the Halifax goonies that you guys called in, they did try to troll it quite a bit. But yes, I agree with Byron. The thread, for the most part, is very good discussion on the MVP formula and imo will probably have changed the formula for next season.
