Well, since everyone else has thrown their prediction out there, I guess I'll offer up mine as well.
To keep it interesting, I've added an "Upset Factor" to each match up.

#1 Queensland Exiles (16-0) • vs • #8 Windsor Walruses (8-8)
Upset Factor: Not a chance.
Queensland comes into the game with a league leading 36 game win streak. They de-tusked the Walruses by 70+ pts just a few games ago, and likely weren't trying too hard at the time. They're playing at home and their roster is dotted with more Superstars than the red carpet at the Academy Awards. Windsor scrapped their way into the playoffs and deserves respect for doing so...they're just outnumbered and outgunned in this showdown.
Queensland cruises 63-10
#2 Saskatoon Silverbacks (14-2) • vs • #7 Thunder Bay Wolverines (9-7)
Upset Factor: Defcom 5, Code red, Get a helmet...put on the effin' helmet! If an upset happens in the 1st Rd, this is the most likely spot for it to happen.
I promise it's not posturing on my part...we're very nervous about a 1st Rd showdown with the always game TBW & the cagey CoachCoughlin. They took us to overtime in the first match, which we narrowly escaped from with a "W." Of Thunder Bay's 7 losses, 1 was against the All-Galaxy Arrowhead Fanatics (tough opening draw) and 5 were against the Top 5 seeds in the West...most were closely contested. Their only loss to a non-playoff team was a 3pt hiccup against 8-8 North Delta on the Huskies home field. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping more than predicting here...
Silverbacks narrowly avoid the slip up 30 - 24 (I don't feel real confident w/ this one but the GLB gods have been kind to us this season so I'll hope they smile on us yet again)
#3 Moose Jaw Roughriders (14-2) • vs • #6 St. John's Salty Dogs (10-6)
Upset Factor: Like that awkward but wholesome13 yr old boy with the hot popular girl next door, "it could happen," but somebody would have to get waaaay too drunk and pass out on the job for there to be any real chance at it.
Moose Jaw has either the 2nd or 3rd best roster in the Conference (behind only Queensland and possibly KCG), they're well coached, don't have any real weaknesses and they're consistent. St. John's threw a wrench in everyone's original projections by losing to NHM in the final game of the RS and dropping to the #6 Seed (did they take a dive in that game to try to set up this match and avenge their perceived slight by Dimmy's pre-playoff predictions...who knows? Who cares, this guy doesn't think it matters) The Salty Dogs are a solid squad but enter this game a little short on star power and take it from a guy who knows, if you want to beat mighty Moose Jaw, you need at least a couple spectacular dots.
Moose Jaw rides rough 52 - 20
#4 Kansas City Gorillas (13-3) • vs • #5 Winnipeg Warriors (11-5)
Upset Factor: Grab some clippers and a razor, this one could get a little hairy.
Winnipeg is talented but has a bit of a Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde personality. One minute they look like world beaters (beat Saskatoon & took KCG to the wire), the next they're a meager let down (big losses to QE, MJ & St. John's). They have talent on that team and QB Kodi Burns Jr. can heat up faster than a Catholic Priest at a YMCA under 13 boys wrestling tourney...but which Winnipeg team shows up for this game? KCG spent much of the season undefeated and thumping their chests, but has proven somewhat vulnerable after the gut-wrenching "Banana-gate" debacle and their late season stroll down murderer's row. Still, they're clearly the better all around team and hold a decided edge in coaching pedigree so...
Gorillas do the Primate Promenade, win 31-24
Round II____________________________________________________________________________
#1 Queensland Exiles (17-0) • vs • #4 Kansas City Gorillas (14-3)
Upset Factor: About the same as Jessica Simpson turning out to be the next Kirstie Alley...not too far fetched, and boy would it be HUGE!
Queenslands own GMs have stated they ARE beatable, and I believe them. KCG has one of the few rosters in the league that I believe are capable of pulling off this upset so this game could be interesting, especially early.
The Exiles are playing at home though, beat KCG once already and they have a habit of pulling away late, even against good teams (OT Killer and Slow Starter anyone?)
KCG can't build a big enough lead in the first half to hold on, Exiles excommunicate our monkey brothers 27 - 12

Gator hasn't been much of a believer in the 'Backs all season, and this game may vindicate his feelings. This "Rivalry" match up features two teams with a long and proud history of hard fought battles, defensive drag-outs and scorching shootouts. This series has gone in cycles, MJ wins a couple then Saskatoon steals 2-3, rinse & repeat. Saskatoon has won the last couple after some legendary defensive performances but fortune can only stay on ones side for so long...right?
This one is too close to call, and I can't bring myself to sell either side short, so I'll leave it to the fates.

Maybe it's because if fate says my 'Backs have to lose I want that loss to be to the eventual conference champs, or maybe it's because I believe you can't flirt w/ disaster too many times before she gives you something that can't be cured with a shot, or maybe I it's just because I think they're due a bad sim but...
S14 proves to be the "Year of the Moose" as MJ pulls off the shocker as they get up early and manage to hang on late:
