I've heard that it's best to get to your strength to 75 immediately (which I've done, while training agility/tackle), then I'm thinking that you either push strength up to about 100 for a run-stopping NT or switch to either agility or tacking (whichever one is higher) for either a heavy hitter, and possibly slightly run-oriented player (with tackling being trained) or a tough pass-rusher (with agility). I would then think that after getting that fairly high (75-100), you would move on to something like speed?
could someone please let me know if this sounds right or give me a decent training plan for a DT? This is my first DT and yeah, I definitely made a few mistakes early, but it shouldn't be too bad in the long run. I'm considering making another DT with the archetype flex and then add in a kicker or something as well, so I figured I would get more info.

100 strength is stupid, don't do that. Stop at 77 or 83, even for an NT. Go agility after strength, it's very important.

77-83 including the EQ? or should I be sure that my equipment is all in agility (or just not put my strength so high)?

Start training stamina and agility. You need to get stamina up around 25 for now and then soft cap agility. While soft capping agility train vision and confidence. After you have agility soft capped soft cap speed and then go back to strength. By that time you'll probably be level 30 something.

The best way to build a DT/NT is by boosting

No, 77/83 before equipment. And if you're an NT, you won't have EQ in agility, it should be all in strength. I thought you were talking 100 strength natural, considering the way you spoke -_- try to be a little bit less ambiguous, mmmkay?

With equipment, you should get to 135-140 strength for an NT. DTs depends on how you want to build him.

Also,

Will you stop giving bad advice, please? Thanks, all the new players trying to learn will appreciate it.

First decide if you want a NT or a DT. They need different numbers.

If you're going to build him as a NT, continue pushing STR up to 77 or 80 natch (before EQ). You can intense train AGI/TCK while doing that. Then take TCK to at least 68. Train AGI/VIS while doing that. Bring AGI up to 68. Train STA/CON. Later on you'll want to get SPD and JUMP up.

For a DT you should take STR to 73 or 77. Then take AGI to the same number. Then TCK to 68 or so. And then SPD. Then VIS.

Whatever you do, don't follow this dude's advice.

Thanks. I like to know what I'm doing before I do it, but I've made some mistakes early, and I think that my next DT will be much better.

Start your next DT by training tackling and strength while saving sp. Once you have enough sp to cap strength at 49 then switch training to tackling and agility and continue to put you points into strength until 77 or 83. Then save sp to get agility to 1st cap once you've capped agility at 49 switch training to speed and tackling. And continue to put sp into agility till up around 77.IMO put all eq into strength.
Don't worry about stamina, confidence, vision, untill you have capped speed then only train them.

thanks. That's close to what I've been doing, but not quite exact.
