He'll be level 32 in a few days, so level 32 equip is a +4 more in speed.

I am currently training agility/vision. All SP's in stength til its 78 natural. Then level 40, 48 and 56 equip in strength for a +12 more strength by then!

Let me know what you think. I feel he's doing very well for his level and age?

Good strength/speed/agility for sure. Need to REALLY start concentrating on vision/confidence/stamina. I'm sure you know that, but to have not really have touched stamina and confidence by lvl 31 is pretty bad....make ur dot the best dot he can be!

Primaries - 10/10
Secondaries - 3/10

total - 6.5/10 with 5 being average, good looking DE who needs to work on some stuff if he really wants to contribute to his squad.

solid build so far. def more strength.
im not sure that equipment in str and spd is the best choice because speed does not help breaking blocks...
but its not that expensive at the moment...so its easy to change if needed and wanted.

i would change your training from vis/agi to vis/con because you aren't getting much from training agi...if your really close to getting one more in agi grab it really fast otherwise switch to vis/con until vis is at 35 then switch to con/sta until you get stamina to 30! should be VERY rounded and VERY good by then

no you

my lvl 61 DE has lead his team every season in either sacks or hurries or both
http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=1047185

Also have a retired DE that got a bronze sack trophy in USA pro before there was world league

You don't even have a DE you are working on and you lolGM like 30 teams, no OC/DC/Owner titles at all. I know alot more about this then you, so GTFO yourself.

He's very young still though? If this was a day 251 age build then secondaries would be more of a focus. But with approx 7.5 seasons before decline it think i can afford to hold off stamina/conf. In 2 seasons from now his 5 main attributes will cost much more then 5 SP's so when the time comes that he is in the level 50+ range SP allocation effenciency could really take off with adding just 1 SP then 2 SP's per attribute in those secondaries for many seasons. Then by the time he is level 60+ all SP's in SA's because this build will be done by age 380 and will be ready for Pro for 2 very dominant seasons.

I have alot of other positions i may post soon too. I do like to see the arguements and suggestions. I'm also pretty focused on the long term personal stats more then short term though too.....

Yes and no. I agree that things like stamina and even confidence for most positions can be put on the back burner for a while and I know that he is still young. But if I understand what you are saying is that you aren't going to touch stamina or confidence fo 2 seasons..or until he's around level 45?

I understand ALG's and the long term benefit of doing what you are doing, in the last couple of seasons your guy should be a beast. But right now, I personally wouldn't sign you to any squad except as maybe a borderline 2nd or solid 3rd string backup.

Your majors are great, but I'd guess you lose 5-6 energy a play...so as soon as you get in the game and play a few snaps all of those great attributes are compromised and you are just another DE.

My only real argument against your build is that you aren't going to be valuable to any squad until that stamina is 30+ and you can play more then 15 snaps without sucking wind. Otherwise..it's just a pretty build. Reality is, with such high majors..you should be dominating, but with such low stamina and confidence...you aren't able to and your stats reflect that.

yeah, it's just a matter of whether he wants to be a beast for 2-3 seasons at the end of his career...or if he wants to have 8-9 productive seasons at a lower level of performance and help teams win championships and stuff.

I personally wouldn't want to wait almost a year for a player to have enough stamina to be a respectable contributor. He's going to have a hard time as a lvl 50 with 20 stamina finding playing time and a high quality squad IMO.

Can i get another opinion, someone? I'm not interested in stats at level 30. There is so very much unequal talent and CPU teams at this level. Would a gutted win with 40 sacks in one game get your respect if all you saw was 50+ sacks in 12 games played this season instead of just 14?

This is a "LEFT" defensive build, which means the double teams are rapid. I don't need 30 stamina when most Oline and TE builds are sitting on 20 stamina, i need to stay ahead of the build curve so as not to get my guys ass pancaked all game while still knockin powerback heads or hurries on the QB.

Hell, i'll open my other DE (right side) at just level 32. This guy outright won Defensive MVP the past 2 seasons......115 sacks in 32 games and if you look, not even half his games are versus gutted teams. He played on the same team Barker did but outperformed him left and right for the past 2 seasons....well guess what, he is now a big ball of crap because 105 strength left OT's are pancaking him all day because i put off his strength.....i will be retiring probably my most successful "stat" king build this season. http://goallineblitz.com/game/player_awards.pl?player_id=1584571
