What does it do???

I have it on my guys and it's hard to tell if it helps.

It increases your base break tackle percentage. If you have very low strength and are not built to break tackles then it is basically worthless to you.

If the replays would show everything that is firing we would know for certain on everything. But seems there is a very limited amount shown on the replays. I currently have Slippery at 15 on my Speed/Elsuive back running on 50% elusive. Once I got his strength from 42-50 I noticed a few extra break tackles a game. Again he is a 80 Agility natural and 79 Speed natural back. I think its worthwhile.

If you are trying to avoid tackles, putting VA points in slippery is an absolute waste IMO.

agility and carry have a lot to do with breaking tackles as well, especially with the speed / scat backs with spin where slippery will certainly help

If you are breaking 5 tackles a season...it isn't the VA for you

If you're a fake back with the recent bonus to breaking tackles right after a fake due to balance loss it may actually be worthwhile, considerign a lot of defenders who are faked get right back into the game and go for the tackle... if you get two separate break tackle boosts in that situation... plus quick feet and spin you could be rather deadly if you're player is already a reliable faker... and considering that's only asking for one VA, and a couple points in spin (which can be achieved with AEQ), I don't see why elusive back's aren't putting points into slippery.

Have you actually seen a defender that has just been faked, that is about to make that tackle, get that tackle broken?

I'm not sure that I have.

I see a ton of defenders getting faked, then making the tackling, but not really what you said..

I thought this was kinda odd for my low level RB. I assume that's a fake on the LB after catch?

I only have 1 pt in fakes from custom EQ. My guy is all speed-agility. 85 natural speed. Is that a fake??

After getting almsost 0 broken tackles, I get 1 or 2 now. But overall not too impressed with Slippery.

My RB started getting VA's so I went with Slippery. But I'm planning to change it out next season. Sounds like something I can add on later.

I have 70+ strength/carrying/ and agility. I broke 34 tackles this season in OPL. 15 in Slippery. Minimal Power Rushing VAs.

For a Combo back how well do you think Slippery would complement Power Thru?

The MLB is faked and then spin fires right afterwards when the MLB attempts the tackle.

The CB

The LOLB

These replays are from the elusive back forum and are after bort's change to player balance after being faked. All of these dots have slippery because they are all running on elusive... I know this isn't a lot and there are plenty of times when the defender makes the tackle right after the fake, but I still think it might be a good idea for an elusive back to get the slippery VA.

This is another example. MLB... this one is posted in this forum under the heading "question on elusiveness"

Not as well as bruiser would, but it works.
