I wouldn't.

At what point are you talking diminishing returns for speed? Is 140 enough for a Pro or WL caliber WR, or is it too much? Speaking strictly as a 'speed' receiver.

If you can triple cap catching and double cap vision, jumping and strength, single cap carrying and stamina, and quadrouple cap agility, and the get the SAs first step, quick cut, sticky hands and route running to 9/10 with help from AEQ, the rest should go to speed. Also any AEQ you get should have some valuable SA or % modifier as well as speed ideally.
140 is not out of the question by level 70.

You'd have to wait for archetypes to come out, then wait for a new version of the player builder and run multiple models seeing how high speed could go to initially while retaining the ability to get certain minimums elsewhere in the build.

Okay...but what about a level 16 player with a base of 78 speed right now? Keep going, or is that high enough to get me to 130ish by level 70...

I just have no idea what a 70 vision WR does that a 50 vision WR does not do.

Have the people advocating it really seen great results?

"speed WR's need high vision, possession WR's need high jumping". What ticks me off now is this myth is being FORCED on me via player archtypes.

Keep going if you want to reach 130

You could probably reach it with some + speed AEQ if you stopped though.

I'd want to go higher than 130 personally.
Most CBs have the advantage of SDC and Ball Hawk.
Most FSs try to get above 110 speed and they have the advantage of being down-field already.

As for your question, you would need 88 speed to get 130 with equipment.
The only way to lessen that number is AEQ with +speed.

Vision is higher than I'd have gone, and you wasted points in Juke and Spin if you're only going to 3 and 4 with them. I'd also have taken catching higher.
