I'm not here to start a fight or keep one going. I just have a legit question about CMM's farm team. I was looking at haole's profile and couldn't figure out if you had one and if so, which one it was.

CMM should get respect for what they've done between the lines and for the most part, I believe they have here in SEAPL.

For those that have mentioned Winona and their choice to gut, I would like to point out that we could have hit the reset button a lot earlier than we did. In fact, I had quite a few conversations with Snaza about it and he wanted to keep trying until our players were in full decline, which they were when started over.

I know that Winona came in here in a not so perfect manner but I believe that they deserve some respect for the effort that they put into their games, etc. They actually over achieved their first season and were either in the playoffs or at least were in the hunt every season, I believe. I'm not saying that Winona was the class of SEAPL or better than other teams, because they obviously were not. I just think we got a reputation and there has been a lot of unnecessary hate towards us ever since. Jesus, learn how to take a joke. That was what Mad Cow's original posts were supposed to be. I actually found them to be humorous and asked him to do something similar (not to the same extent) in SEA AAA 1 in the following season.

Thanks.

I just took a look at the LLL's and your HB, #21 Marion Barber, better be fucking legit! I actually had pride in the Gopher's football team when we had Barber and Maroney and even Russell.

Speaking from experience, you might want to wait at least one or two seasons (depending on the amount of gutting here in SEAPL) before you bring them up here. We're having a hard enough time in our 10th season. Either way, we'd love to play you guys, assuming we haven't tucked our tails and hit the reset button. I think we might be able to hang on for two more seasons up here. Three if we're feeling froggish.

It was his team. We talk about things but in the end, it was his team to do as he saw fit. I retired my guys, because we were mediocre at best and I needed the flex.

I owe it to him, as I'm usually the dumbass when we're out drinking and he usually goes along with my "great ideas at the moment" which quickly turn into moments when I sober up. No, it's nothing ghey for those of you who love to turn everything into man-on-man action.

It was your boy who talked about the Winona decision to gut. And he mocked us for not making the same decision.

I don't criticize Winona for making that decision, but I think it's ridiculous and counter-intuitive for anyone to try and say that we're quitters or losers because we decided to fight through it.

We made a commitment to our agents: they built a bunch of players who wanted to one day be Mountain Men and play in the Pros with a shot at the World League. We want to honor that commitment. If we gut, we give up on that promise without even trying. We're not going to do that to our agents.

If that means we have to suffer through a couple of rough years, that's just the way it has to be. We're not embarrassed about it, and we're not too concerned what other people think about it. We're doing the best we can to do what we said we would do. Did we start our farm team a little too late? Yep, because it left this gap that we weren't prepared for and jmarter picked the absolute worst time to have RL problems to deal with (yeah, I know he didn't actually pick the time to have a RL problems, but dammit we miss his steady hand on the wheel, that's for sure).

Oh well, it is what it is. I got no problems with you worm, and I would actually feel bad about you and your team getting dragged into the middle of this shit if it wasn't your little yap dog who kept doing all the barking.
