My roommate filled out the survey and PM'ed me what he wrote which I thought was a great idea. I encourage you all to show similar sentiment. He wrote:

I really hope Bort takes these surveys seriously because here's a great idea: a "dynasty" or "veteran" league where only players who are 440 days or older can be eligible to play in. Take away the idea of player's declining, just make it so they no longer can boost after 440 days. Also, when a player is over 500 days old, charge the agent 50 or 100 flex points per player to keep them "active" and eligible in the "dynasty" or "Veteran" leagues every season. Otherwise they become "retired" or ineligible. At any time, an agent can pay the flex point fee to make their coveted players eligible or "active". The idea of "dynasty" or "veteran" leagues would also allow Bort to create more opportunities for more teams, thus bringing in more money. This way it is a win-win for both Bort and the consumer because Bort gets more money and the consumer is happy because their best players never decline and can still compete.

On the subject of player regression, my roommate also made this point:

If someone who plays World of Warcraft (another MMORPG) spends a lot of time and money leveling their character up only to find out that their character's stats will begin to decline because they are getting "too old", how do you think the consumer / customer will feel? Angry. GLB needs to fix this before they lose a majority of their fanbase in a weak economy. There are opportunities business-wise for GLB to grow that are consumer friendly.

Agree with the concept that GLB needs a more consumer friendly financial model, however I don't like the idea of a Veteran only league.

It takes away from the realistic concept that championship teams are a healthy blend of the Wiley old vets and talented young stars. It also would screw with several of the VAs already in place.
