I've seen several posts that MLB's should have speed and agility withing 8 of each other, and take tackling to 61 and strength to 68. TO me.... seeing a build like this would suck as a MLB

Str 68
spd 83 with Eq
agi 75 with eq
Tak 61
Vis 61

he's going to get his ass handed to him by power backs. Explain to me how 68 str with only 61 tack is even remotely feasable

DvG? That's a pretty good build for level 32.

68 at what level? If it's early on I think it could reach 4-cap naturally, but I don't know. 73.25 is a good natural number around 50-55, imo

level 44-46

Str 64
spd 85 with 21 eq
agi 76 with 8 eq
jmp 41
sta 47
vis 61
con 40
tak 55
cat 33

To me, a MLB at this level should be over 80 for STR

DvG is pretty cheesy and VERY risky IMO. Even with 15 in DvG you have a 45% chance of it triggering. You're risking 55% of it not triggering, and you getting pancaked when you could have easily taken some out of speed and chucked it into STR.

MLB's should have STR, AGI, TAK...... MLB's, unless dropping into coverage, don't need speed... near as much as those other stats

lol. Fine go build a 100 strength LB with 70 speed and 70 agility. I don't fucking care.

Vision and agility are key for a great MLB

because all the arguments have been posted here. DvG isn't a chance roll... it's a 45% bonus to tackling players who are stronger than you. So you basically 1.45x'd your ability to tackle someone who is stronger than you. How is that terrible?

I misread that..... I"m used to the "% chance to work" Va's......

That makes building a MLB so much easier. (kinda cheesy lol)..... So basically now you can build a CB that is a little stronger and place him at MLB lol I'd been wondering why I'd been seeing insanely fast MLB's

No. That's incorrect.

I agree with Homage. That's not correct at all. Go ahead and build a MLB like that, he'll get killed. DvG provides a reasonable bonus to tackling powerbacks who'd otherwise be un-tackle-able, at least without make tackle % AEQ. It's possible to have 100 speed, 70 strength and tackling, and use DvG to help against power backs. You still won't make every tackle, but you won't even if you do have 100 strength and 100 tackling.
