I'll begin slowbuilding a scatFB in a few days, and I'm wondering how much vision is necessary. From what I understand...

spd/agil to run a good route and find space quickly
str/carry to help catch on the run without slowing down/stopping and break tackles
catch/vision to catch without drops

If vision is only 1-capped, will that be enough? What exactly does vision do? Is it used to 'concentrate' on the ball in flight until possession is maintained, is it used to find the best 'creative running style' and help when using a balanced carrying style?

My idea is to heavy-cap spd/str with 70 agil, and work on 2-capping catch/carry and then....

Basically I'm trying to plan for a setup where I can run-block for speed-backs occassionally (with minimal block, mostly strength - I guess vision will help ID blocking targets, yes?) but otherwise run a good, quick route past the second level and run over a safety with str/carry.

Is this too much to hope for?
Is it either...
a) be quick and catch but get tackled by the CB if he has the angle
or...
b) be agile and strong and get popped by the OLB

I know there's a lot here, I'm just trying to plan before I build.
