its a good power back build, keep going with it. you will probably get some people who say retire, but that is because they think their backs are the best or they think everything must be perfect.

keep going with the build

I agree, keep going. Focus on the primary abilities, like taking speed, agility and carrying to 74 (speed maybe to 78) and you'll have a very, very good base.

Train stamina/confidence.

Later you'll want to consolidate your equipment into speed.

speed to 68 minimum
agility to 68
carrying to 68 minimum
then start on SAs

Once you get those power SAs started he will start to shine. Oh, and look for +STR and break tackle% AEQ.

The only reason I have the FS AEQ is because of the +3 agility that came with it, and I wanted to at least keep my bonus tokens after the season. Should I try to hold out for Power Through?

I guess the reason I was considering retiring is that once he gets up to play with the big boys, powerbacks are few and far between. They're all 110+ Speed, 90+ Agility, 68+ Carrying, and a lot less strength. I started building my RB when powerbacks were "in", but they got sorta nerfed...

So you're suggesting this build is worth investing CEQ in? If so, should I start going with EQ toward Speed or is strength not where it needs to be yet?

if you can't decide, split it between speed and strength, you'll definitely want more of both.

I think the FS piece is ok, especially if you can get three pieces levelled up. Most powerbacks have low agility and thus start slowly. People underestimate the value of being able to accelerate quickly to a high speed in this game in order to knock other players down via momentum.

He's looking fine so far. First Step is a good piece even if you only get one. It makes it very easy to get FS to 9 and you will notice it. Find another piece w/ break tackle % or power through.

Build the guy that you want to build and have fun! You never know how the game will change down the line.
