Congratulations Stallions, well played, though I must say the football gods really had it in for us today. A failure to convert in 4 attempts from your 5, a missed 42 yard FG from a kicker that has not missed from less than 50 since season 8, and then of course the heatbreak sequence following that, getting the ball back on the very next play just to see it intercepted for the clinching TD on the play directly after that. Could not have been any crueler when watching hte PBP.

Oh, the win was deserved, we just could not make the plays that mattered, but the way it came about was very frustrating to watch. Particularly that sequence following the missed FG was hard on my nerves:

Yay, we got hte ball righ back in great position.
Why in the world do we give it straight back again and even for a TD?
That sequence really had it all

Also could not quite figure out why we could not stop any run in the first half, and suddenly in the second half it seemed you could hardly get more than 2 yards per carry. Guess it might have been stamina issues from some aging linemen you had?

Wish we would have had a better start into the game, than it would have been more interesting in the second half. Once we was forced out of our comfort zone and needed to pass it was over.
