Sorry, you might be right, but your logic sucks. His playoff stats, prorated to 16 games:

100 receptions, 1250 yards, 8 TDs.

Pretty good numbers.

His play-off stats after they fixed the absurd passing game post-season 6: in 7 seasons he only went to 3 play-off games, never making it out of the first round and in that span averaged 20 yards per play-off game.

Whatever dudes. 2 games and 1500 yards still don't explain the other 14 competitive games we had, where we lost half of them, and still got 3500 more yards. Of which none of your guys have even come to half of that.

Fact is, I always played at level appropriate. Remember 2nd season guys were always right behind 1st season guys for about 10 seasons. I never went down in leagues and was always going against CB's and safeties around my level, except for a few games, that everyone has, I have no control over a team going cpu half way through the season. So stick your snide comments that you are implying I played in weak leaks to buff stats. Total BS. I played my entire career as AAA or Pros.

Fact is, no WR in the game comes close to touching Eldo in receiving yards in a season or career.

I'm not saying your WR is bad, or that his stats don't matter at all, or that he was intentionally played in weak leagues.
All I'm saying is, I've seen that build on many other players (no joke) and I don't think it's very good.

Stats aren't meaningless. Stats do need evaluated for what they are and how they were achieved though.

The best dots in GLB don't gain their status by opinion polls about their build. They get that rep by kicking ass and taking names.

Both you AND mob would bash my WR's build.

Stats are mostly meaningless for WRs. This game is so heavily slanted toward the run that for all you know the best, most capable builds in the game are never played. Also, you have to have many other things in play to get success out of your receiver, and no matter how good they are a receiver with a shit QB and O line will not get what's widely accepted as great numbers.

Also fwiw if your build sucks, you know it sucks. When I rate a build I do it in a general mathematical sense before I consider my opinion, and even more importantly I consider the focus of the build and how strictly it holds to it - that's what I've found to usually determine success.

Yea, I wish we could put a group together like we did for Snake River. That was one awesome group.

Eldo did ok after it disbanded, hope the rest of you guys did as well.

I remember you on Snake River SB when MacIntosh was on the Flames. Those Canada AAA games were insane back then. Eldo was most certainly one of the best WR's in the game.

Sorry, best ever WR is Spider Lockhart. Way more catches and TDs with about the same yards, so Spiders got your guy beat. And he's not retiring and is open for anyone to shoot him a contract. Your guy could only muster 72 catches last season, while Spider caught another 158 balls and led his league once again, like he does every year.

So double the catches and 1300 yards while in AAA isn't much better than my 1K yard season in the Pro's, while I'm on a running team.

Your good, but still almost 1500 yards behind Eldo even with so many extra catches.

Spider is good, but I'd put Eldo up against Spidey any day against CB's.

But after a certain point your guy will continue to decline further and further. You might be able to catch Eldo in Yards, but you've already been playing longer than Eldo.
