Congratulations to the Queen City Black Cats who've wrapped up the #1 seed headed into the playoffs and look to finish the regular season undefeated! The "Game of the Week" is a battle for the #2 seed between the Village Dogs and Arrowhead Fanatics...with a win the Fanatics can grab hold of second place, but will finish no worse than third with a loss. Cobden and Puvirnituq are also guaranteed playoff spots while the remaining three will be filled by some combination of Texas, Charlesburgh, Yellowknife, and Ontario. If the Coyotes can upset the Musketeers and both the Black Iron Dragons and Rented Mules dispatch their opponents...Ontario would clinch the final spot supposing the Hogsnakes lose to the Black Cats.

In the West we know for certain that the Surrey Fighting Stanleys have clinched the #1 seed and home-field throughout the playoffs. The St. John's Salty Dogs will finish the regular season with the #2 seed locked up. Moncton, Northern, and Tadoussac are all guaranteed to be in the playoffs...but their seeding could be anywhere from #3 - # depending on the outcome of the Polar Bears vs. Bloodhounds game. The Nebraska Husker Maniacs and Windsor Walruses both have very winnable games this week and should see their records improve to 9-7...while the Thunder Bay Bloodhounds, Winnipeg Warriors, and Kansas City Gorillas each look to avoid a loss, thereby dropping them to 9-7 as well. It's likely that the season will end with four teams that have 9-7 records with only two making the playoffs and two missing the playoffs. Best of luck to everyone!
