How come merging isn't collaboration? Don't get me wrong, I'm all for it but I can't get a handle on what collaboration is and what it isn't.
And like haole, I'm going down to just one OC job just as soon as we retire all our players at the end of next season. Just to show how the game has changed, I spend more time now with two teams than I did when I was doing eleven. So much for getting this whole Beta thing refined.

Mekong merged like in season 7 or 8 with a team called davao even changed our name but it gave us our worse season ever. It was too many hands in the kitchen. I don't think my partner was wrong it's just that I was totally thick headed with things. Dungy is the only guy that I've ever been able to work with and he will tell you i'm a jerkoff at times.I see one thing and others might see something else. I think the whole farm team thing is gray area but I believe as long as you give to one team as much as you get it should be ok. By the way who is your avatar?

I think the word you are looking for is "collusion" not collaboration.
To the best of my knowledge, Bort hasn't really ever enforced it and it is pretty impossible to do because collusion entails making secret agreements to do something and the only way that Bort can enforce it is if he knows for sure that it happened (ie isn't secret anymore).
There was an easy way to stop it early on, but Bort ruled that farm teams were ok and now collusion is just accepted.
The only collusion that Bort frowns on is throwing games on purpose, but even then, he doesn't do anything when gart's network has thrown games that affected things as important as whether a team was demoted or not.
So basically, there is no collusion. Transfer money, reload players on other teams, throw games to help your network. They are all legal.

"Collusion"... sorry. Doing this at work and type the first words that come to mind. Well.... that's good to know and will probably be apart of my scheming in the future.
