I'm making a Speed HB at the moment.

I started training Speed+ Agility first until speed was at 30. I've then trained Agility alone until its at 30 before I put points in to it.

The only problem I have now is what do I train? I want to train on intense because at the moment I only have 12 BT. Ideally I want Carrying/Vision/Confidence to be the next things I work on.

Do I go Carrying/Confidence then Vision/Something?

If that's what you have your heart set on doing - then train carrying/conf, then vis/conf.

For a speed HB, I would start with speed high, agility low, train on intense to 35 speed, insert sp until first cap
train speed/agility still until speed is 54, then double cap speed
train speed/agility still until either speed is 63 or agility is 35. cap whichever attribute comes first
if agility comes first, train speed/stamina until speed is 63
if speed comes first, train agility/vision until agility is 35
then cap it

This is a bad plan in my opinion. Why cap speed and then continue to train it? Would it not be better to hold the SP and just train speed/agility until you can 2nd cap speed, which would be faster.

Youre slow building with a hand tied behind your back man. Train intense. Give me a reason why you shouldnt have been doing that all along? Cant wait 3 days? Use bonus SP to hit your 6-1 caps etc. Your logic is skewed. However, capping at 7-1 and training is not a bad idea. Yeah you only get 5% training but its good for 7 SP, so I just 7x5%= 35% of one SP. Thats good in my book. Granted I wouldnt train 2 highly capped Attributes at once.

Because you save the SP...

Have you ever actually used that 'plan' for one of your players?

SP saved is completely pointless as the sheer amount of time spent training speed will mean you'll be lacking in all other attributes.

Training speed when it's 49 gives you 12% per training session, intense training gives you a bonus totalling 15% per training session. So to train speed from 49 to 54 would take a minimum of 34 intense training session. Since you can only intense train 16 times during a season you'll spend 2 further seasons training speed after it's capped, wasting valuable time that could've been spent training other important attributes.

It's far better to just train speed to say 32 with the training progess at 95-99% so that once you've spent SP getting it over 77, you can just train it one session to get it to 78 saving 6 SP.

Viscount is right, that would have you missing out on a lot of natural level gains. At low levels, you move forward so quickly that you don't have time to train that skill over to 54 without missing out on 4+ levels worth of natural gains. I can see training over from 48.99 to 49.99 and then capping again at 61.32 or something...but training all the way to 54 is a L in the end.
