My TE has 10 in spin, so it's something I want to maximize if possible.

Just wondering since spin is a break tackle event, if having points in Lower the Shoulder will help get more spins, or just an occasional lower the shoulder?

I don't think so. But don't quote me on it.

I would say NO. Agility wills surely help. Maybe Quick Feet??

not unless there's a huge bug

Does LTS even work for the TE? How often does it fire? Is it worth investing in?

It's on the TE receiving tree so it should work right?

I would like to see a good TE breaking or avoiding lots of tackles. I can't remember seeing that much.

Working on it:

I've never seen LTS fire very often even when high.

LTS does not affect spin firing rates
Spin activates based off of AGI and CAR... and then whether you break the tackle or not is a factor of your normal break tackle roll (momentum, weight, STR, CAR, AGI, VIS, CON, morale, energy, tackle angle, tacklers momentum, tacklers TKL) augmented by SPin.

Thanks. I rolled a piece of AEQ with LOT and was thinking about it. Glad I didn't buy it.

I was thinking LOT works more for RB's when they run straight into a defender. When a TE catches the ball, he rarely gets this type of situation. Might explain why it doesn't fire?

Plausible, most people seem to think that LTS fires more often when the dot has a lot of momentum built up... I'm not terribly sure about that, but for me if it was down to +3 CAr +1 LTS, or +1CAR +5% brk tkl, I would take the break tackle piece... but some people say the percentage pieces don't work as intended either, but really no one knows how anything works... so it's all up in the air and up to interpretation. LTS might even be a factor of height and no one has built the right height yet to get it to fire often... we never really seem to know anything about this game.

That's why I'm experimenting with Stiff Arm on a TE. I've seen our power back slow down to a near stop after breaking a tackle and then still stiff arm the next defender without much momentum.

On HBs, Stiff Arm seems to be more effective and fire more often. I don't know how this translates to TEs though.
