Would this be useful? (it's paired with a break blocks 2%).

My guy is a pure 3-4 DE, built more to tie up or pancake blockers rather than make plays. Would this have a big enough affect on morale that it would make him more effective? I've never used this ability much with my linebackers.

I have a piece on my DE. I think it does have some benefit. I'm keeping it unless I get a can't pass up piece.

Yeah, that's my thought with it as well. I haven't really noticed much benefit so far, but I've only been using it for a couple games. Anything that helps him push linemen around is a good thing..

Break block piece alone is worth it.

I was pleasently surprised by AoI. The only reason I kept it was because it came with +3 agility but my DE has performed above expectations---only marginally above-average ability (94 spd, 84 agi @ Level 41) and he had 17 sacks on the year. The most important point was that it wasn't as if he had, like, 12 in two games vs. CPU teams; the sacks were largely spread out evenly...

That's kind of the results I'm hoping for; I figure since he's lined up across from the same lineman every single play, the AoI should cause a considerable drop to his morale and therefore his blocking over the course of the game.

How high did you get the AoI when you noticed results?

I just wanted to update that, having gotten AoI up to 4, I'm noticing some results. He's really improved his frequency of reverse pancakes. It's a more marked improvement than I've had with other BB% pieces, so I think the ability to hamper the RT's morale is a good boost.
