I know there were a few buggy-looking ST plays posted earlier in the season...but I haven't seen any for at least a few games.

check out how our CB (EWs CB2) runs right past the punt returner (Biggs English Mustard!) to give up a TD:

It's like Bigg's returner used a Jedi mind trick on the CB...

Maybe he fell down? The dot kinda jumps to the left, I guess. Was he juked?

I don't think there's any build problems here. As the DC, I'm always critical of each of our guys in terms of making tackles, etc. That agent (my wife, actually) has built several DBs for us in the past few seasons, and the builds have all been very close, and all pretty successful. She has two CBs for us this season, and both are virtually identical other than breakthroughs in training. That CB has been fairly good this season, too. He doesn't have the tackling stats that other DBs on our team have racked up (including her other CB with almost the same name)...but he does have a 49 yard int TD.

Has anybody else been seeing anything like this? I'd love to find out that it's a bug, rather than a build problem. It's probably just one of those things that we'll never understand.

I'd say that it's probably a lack of Agility, but without knowing the build it's hard to be sure.

probably a combination of agility and vision. He took a bad angle and couldn't correct

Late in the game (4th quarter it was). Low Energy and Low Morale, he just didn't care enough to cut back for the tackle.

Yeah, energy or moral make the most sense (which still isn't much), because I've seen him make much harder tackles. But the moral and energy levels at the end of the game were pretty good across the board. (No idea what they were during this play, though) That position is on a 98/99 energy substitution setting with lots of subs, so it's hard to believe that energy or moral was any worse than during the other plays where that guy, and similarly built DBs, have made good tackles and taken good angles.

I'd bet he has high speed (65-70) and low agility (20-30) and that's the biggest factor. I don't think the morale/energy had too much to do with it, b/c it would actually bring down his speed more than agility (b/c of %'s), which would increase his chance to make that play.
