It seems that my SS has been designated for ST duty most of the time rather than D. He does well on ST coverage and is stacking up most of his tackles on punts and kick offs.

I have his VAs set to favor ST, but I would really like him to be a defensive SS. Any suggestions?

my suggestion is be more careful with the team you sign with. they have 6cbs , 3 SS and 2 FS.....too many dbs

yea...they didn't have that many when I first signed and i was told I would be the #1 SS as well as ST. Oh well, may as well adapt.

@ 71.7 for speed. But I think he is just as good on defense, just need to hope he gets more playing time next season whereever he plays.

Speed to 74 is good for both defensive and special teams safeties. This early in the build, there's not a huge difference. A coverage SS prioritizes vision and jumping higher, but a ST safety is eventually going to want those anyhow.

DEs make good ST players. The level gains are way better. plus they have SB, CD and MH

I know, it will be up to 60.5 after my next level up. Definitely my #1 priority right now.
