Does this attribute do anything on defense like help you shed blocks or anything.

why is blocking a secondary attribute then to LB's?

It helps against receiving TE's and HB's, but I would suggest using break block/shed block with it to maximize effectiveness.

bort says its in the break block equation..... not even worth training IMO

I'm not 100% sold on it being useless, but the effects do seem minimal.

My growing pains retired S1 backer. Those points in blocking were put in early but late enough to know how damn useless it was for him. Dont even train it.
