Hey guy's just wondering if anyone has used the forced fumbles pieces with any luck. My MLB has...

+2 jumping + 3% force fumble
and
+1 speed + 3% force fumble

I'm only lv 16 and have both pieces fully upgraded. Should I look for another force fumble piece or try and get a monster hit piece as the 3rd piece of AEQ to complement it? Thoughts? Thanks..

+1 Speed but not a fan of FF % unless u have the build for it.

FF % is pretty cool.

My DE had 1 FF piece and forced two fumbles in the semi-finals on the Power HB, I now have two FF pieces, but yet to see any results... but I still think it's pretty cool.

That's the thing. I'm only lv 16, so I can go a number of diffrent ways with my build. All my LB's start off pretty similiar for the most part and I let the AEQ decide my direction if it's good. I did the crap of wanting my build to follow my plan from day 1 only to have 1 to 2 pieces of AEQ for my career, because I spent so much time finding the perfect AEQ. I rolled these force fumble pieces my 1st 2 rolls, so I shouldn't have trouble keeping 3 fully upgraded pieces during my career. I just don't know if 40% FF (3 pieces) would be greater than say 30% FF (2 pieces) w/ 4 or 5 MH.

tough decision.
I don't know how much MH influences the FF roll... If you invest in MH up to 9, then I don't think the AEQ in MH would make a difference, but if you don't want to invest, it could be very helpful.

I see your dilemma and raise you no solution.

anybody got an explanation of how the FF% pieces actually work?

My MLB has make tackle % and Super Vision

Nobody knows for sure how tackling works.

One possibility is that on any tackle attempt, there is a roll for a "tackle quality" number. This number is first used against the RBs variables in a fumble roll. Say the tackle quality roll is a 50 and you have no other bonuses to fumbles (morale, energy, SAs, etc). With a 40% bonus the number on the fumble side of the equation is 70. Then say the RB has a not fumble/break tackle number generated. Or it could be two separate rolls. If it's below 70 after mods its a fumble, above, no fumble. Then there'd be either a separate break tackle roll or calculation.

Sounds complicated. I think I'll keep these 2 pieces and look for another one or a MH piece. I've got strength and tackling capped right now. I think I'll run them both to the 4th cap and see what he can do with these pieces. Thanks for the input everyone.

Just to recycle a thread, I just rolled a Force fumble chance +2% piece, should i get it or should I hold out for something better?

nothing else? it's such a small chance to begin with, and it's only a multiplicative modifier, there is better equipment out there. At L36, you should be able to get something decent with 2 attributes.

My MLB has Aura and Def Gen. I'm not sure how effective the first on is, but is decent. As with the later. I get the feeling the position is not the sort that shows up in the awards.
