Any idea how is it calculated?

The Intimidation VA increases the required confidence to resist Trash Talk, Growl, Snarl, Aura of Intimidation and Glare SA's by 5%.

Meanwhile, the Aura of Intimidation SA appears to be a (in my own words)"the more you have the stronger it is" kind of effect.

One refers to a set resistance value while one refers to a growing effectiveness, which is why I'm confused as to how it is calculated...

My most important question is however:

If playing at MLB, will the intimidation VA's and SA's slow a RB (or inside running game) down enough to be worth while (What sort of effect can I expect)?

ive never seen anyone be a big fan of these attributes. some have tried to make aura builds and failed miserably.

No one really knows how or if they work....It's not like in the play by play screen in parenthesis it will say INT cause by intimidation.

You just need to check with your team to see if they want one of their LBs with this set of skills.

I presume it works like this. Your player takes off running with the ball. A LB comes within a certain distance of him and a roll is triggered. For snarl, growl, and the like there is a roll to see if the SA triggers, versus a roll on behalf of the carrier to see if the roll is resisted ( I presume). Aura would trigger any time the carrier comes within the radius. There are a couple of ways the morale penalty could work. It could "wait" for a tackle attempt to be made. It would then be a strict bonus to the make tackle roll, like 2% for level 1. I'm not sure how the morale rolls would work, whether a tackle attempt or some other event needs to occur or whether there can be a straight penalty to morale assessed simply by entering the radius.

I've really not seen anyone say one way or another whether any of the intimidation VA's work. There is an Aura build for an LB, but that was seasons ago that that was made for. For the latest season? No idea.
