Hey, I just joined GLB and am looking at creating a corner. I read the new player creation guide and it kind of scared me... It says I'm not supposed to spend SP on stats that dont have an automatic gain and I should focus on one attribute until I reach the softcap. I think. So do I save or spend those initial points I get during character creation? If I spend them, do I spend all on one att? How about height and size, what would be ideal for a shutdown corner? Thanks in advance.

I think the ideal height would be 6'4" due to the longer wingspan and a possible hidden bonus to vision/jumping. Dunno if those would be true or not. Doubt it. The ideal weight in the current sim would probably be 180 lbs. I think weight has a definitive impact on your speed and the lighter the faster in this case.

Note that you should be taking speed and agility and vision (maybe) to the 73 cap with SP. I think that's the ticket nowadays. Remember to stockpile SP until you can hit the 48 cap. So do not spend them at creation.

+1, i think that guide gives a very good basic understanding... hard to argue with speed and agility and vision all needing to get to at least 68 asap, but i cant say i 100% agree with the end. I think there are a few more attributes that should be worked before confidence and stamina. but overall, that guide is pretty much what you should be looking at for a CB.

oh, and very importantly... i dont know if the guide touches on this or not, but DO NOT touch SAs until you are about lvl 40. i know they are tempting, but i will hurt you overall if you go with them early.
