There a loads of Speed WR's. A couple of others on our team.

Currently my guy is:

Speed 92 (+22)
Agility 69

Thinking of shifting EQ so its

Speed 81 (+11)
Agility 80 (+11)

Thoughts?

Well 1st of all you should get his Agility to at LEAST the 73/74 cap. I would go all the way to 78. Then you don't have to really use EQ there IMO.

Is it you level 25 WR? I would say rearrange the equip and see how it works...if it doesnt you can always replace the original equipment and it wouldnt cost you an arm and a leg.

I came across a 100/100 spd/agi WR a season or two ago and he looked to be decent. I think to be successful with that type of build though you would need an adequate amount or strength/vision/catching though....possession/balanced WR type.

I wouldn't do it until you can get them both to 90/90ish

Ok, good advise here. Definitely planning to take Sp and Ag to 74 this season. Maybe it might be better to wait until then. I suppose Speed of 81 now maybe a little slow.

It just seems like there is only one way of making WRs. Those that have invested more in the Possession tree are called Posession WRs but they all typically have Speed of about 115 and Agility of 75. I just figured having Speed and Agility at nearly 100 each would make him harder to cover and could really expose CBs who haven't got elite Agility and Vision.

Even speed and agility can be very successful. You are gonna need good catching eventually, but they change direction very well and it leads to very solid separation.

And there are definitely multiple ways of making a successful receiver. Many would have you believe that you need 120 spd to be successful, but there is a fair range of builds that can do very well. The most important thing is to have a combination of VA's, SA's, attributes, and AEQ which all fit together towards what you want your receiver to do.

^^^ = key

A WR with even agi/spd ratio may be effective with HF/Spin/Juke SAs, in combo with QF/Slippery VAs.

add to that having an OC who will use your WR to his strengths....

A WR with even agi/spd ratio won't be too effective on straight deep routes, but will be more effective on routes that have sharp cuts, fakes, etc.

That is exactly right. In the endgame, if you go this route you should shoot for:
a. 110+ speed and 100 agility
b. 10 points in Spin SA
c. At least 2 and preferably 3 AEQ that have +fake%
d. Maxed out QF/Slippery VAs

Wouldn't +Break Tackle% be better with spin instead of +fake%?

What about first step? I have 2 pieces of advanced equipment that both have 1st step. Is that a good idea or should be on the lookout for another piece of equipment? If so which ones? LV 25 speed WR (96 speed 60 agility, i will get agility higher)

Imo, if you want to break tackles you need break tackle AE, spin, slippery, and yac attack (along with at least possession receiver as a VA).

If you want to fake peeps you need fake% AE, juke/headfake, quick feet, and preferably awe inspiring or underdog (along with at least possession receiver as a VA).

While quick feet might work for both, by trying to be both a fake receiver and a break tackle receiver you will not be as good at either as you could be otherwise (which is fine i guess, but you just have to keep that in mind).
