You are at level 17 and you are not taking advantage of the autolevel points. you get 1pt in punting for every level 1-22 so that means that you have to take advantage of that.

I went to 77 punting then stopped, is at 88.5 now. From 22-28 Ill get .5 per level up. That is a huge amount of SP's saved by capping punting early.

I should have not done strength before taking confidence to 77 but meh it was my first punter.

Confidence to 68 is next.

This is quoted from a Forbin post in the other Punter thread. Okay, you say to retire all these punters(his 2 and mine), but then you say you have one with a crappy build and he does fine!? So why should someone retire his if you think he will be "just fine"!?

And if having dots that don't have to wait a few seasons to post decent stats is "crappy dots", then I guess I'd prefer to build them!? Thanks, you enjoy the game as well!

How big of a difference is there between 100 Punting and 120 Punting, what is affected, length of Punt, hang time, accuracy? Just curious, because if I add no more points to Punting I am at 109 (w/ equipment) at level 32, and this season (his 2nd) I have 10 Punts already with 31.8 yds/Punt.

I realize he may not be the best build, but how much better is 120 Punting than 100, I guess that is my main question.

120 punting is 20% better than 100 punting. Everything to do with punting is affected.

Punting is your primary attr, by quite a bit. That's why you were advised to retire and start over. You lost tons of time pushing Str, Vis, con before at least 4th capping punting.
