I'm wondering if being outleveled by 4 levels or so trumps good builds. Meaning if they outlevel us by that much, will it not matter that our builds are comparable? I notice we miss tackles still and simply get beat when our builds are pretty close, but we are outleveled.

Levels aren't supposed to mean anything at all. It depends on the level range, but at higher levels, the only tangible advantage to having more levels is more VA points.

The lower the level range, the bigger the impact is of those levels, however. The difference between a level 6 and a level 14 is 8 levels, but it's a nearly insurmountable advantage, because of the difference in SP and attributes, even if the level 14s are built poorly.

Take that same 8 level difference, and apply it at the top. The difference between a level 70 and a level 62 is the same amount, 8 levels=40 SP, but at that level range, 40 SP doesn't make a dent in a build. You're looking at some extra points in SA, or a FEW attributes, but nothing major.

Many teams have been able to overcome as high as a 10 (Or even more, in very extreme cases) level disadvantage, based on tactics and builds. This is most prevalent at this point in the game, in the AA leagues where you will often find teams of level 65-70 dots with shitty builds (Or else they'd be in the pros), and they'll lose to well built teams of level 55-60 dots.

OK.. that makes some sense... since right now we are in the low 20s and competing against some teams in the mid 20s... which obviously have started getting VAs. And probably have better effects with their SAs. Thanks for the reply.
