My Boy Koyal http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=812322
He can be a pro-caliber CB for the right team and the right conditions.
Here are some answers to typical questions.
*Are you an active poster on Team forums?
On past teams I have been an active poster. I check forums multiple times a day.
*What does your players build look like? (Koyal is at 893/1000 XP so is about to level to 55)
My Boy Koyal is a tall speedy CB with lower top-end speed (90's) but relatively close agility (70's). I'd rather keep the two relatively close, especially seeing how more agility is required often to keep up with cuts and to get off the line fast on burn routes. He has high vision (70's) with very high Superior Vision (10), which supposedly helps CBs in coverage and play reading. Shutdown Coverage (7), First Step (3) and Change Direction (4) help keep up with more agile receivers. Honestly I haven't seen that much out of pure deep threat speed WRs to put much focus into covering them, though SC and FS helps deal with them.
I used this season to build Koyal's strength and tackling, which I've read needs to be around 48 in both strength and tackling for the advanced leagues. He was on a Pro-League team the previous season but cut due to being too low in level.
*How do you plan on continuing the build of your player?
The major deficiency with Koyal is his equipment. He has not had a solid team to be able to provide EQ money, and as a result is several levels lower than where it needs to be. After boosting to 56, he will have (I think) 11 upgrades to complete. 5 of those would be to AEQ, boosting Swat Ball and Superior Vision. He has 51 tokens, enough to make those upgrades.
I plan on continuing to train tackling with agility. Tackling is at a stage to continue to get good training upgrades, and leveling agility from training gets good SP value added. Of course, I would take into account whatever my next team wants me to do. Boost points at the moment would probably soft cap tackling and strength, but definitely see what the team says. After soft capping tackling and strength, I would work on Jumping and Catching to help with pass deflections...and interceptions of course.
Equipment points will go into agility and speed, with a emphasis to getting his agility up closer to his speed. Probably around 80 would be optimum.
*What level of Equipment do you currently have?
See above. I'm not sure, but two pieces are +5 and two are +6.
*Would you take into consideration any build advice from an experienced GLB member?
Definitely.
*Do you boost every season?
Koyal missed a few seasons, but boosts every season now.
*Do you have CE?
Yes.
*Are you willing to sign through season 13 or 14?
Yes, provided the team can provide equipment cash.
*What kind of contract numbers are you looking for?
Enough to cover training. Either a signing bonus or EQ funding for upgrading equipment for the benefit of the team would be great.
Thanks for reading my app! I hope to hear from you soon.
