They don't suck, but they're definitely not the best. Power Through is the best. I might try First Step if you could get it to ten easily. Breaking tackles is helped by speed, and getting to your top speed quicker would help that out.

Dont no about that, but all I have ever heard about Dive 4 yards, is to stay the heck away from it.

I don't think D4Y is worth putting eq into. A couple SP at the end of power backs career, sure. FS could be nice on a 100 strength, 90 speed, 70 agility power back.

First step is really good for receiving backs.

First Step is very underrated but it you'll have to max it out to really see how good it is. My Season 1 RB really made a significant leap forward when I finally got it limited out.

I don't see where RBs benefit from First Step. The speed at handoff is capped so the animation can run smoothly. At that point you're already moving and FS won't help. I know there's a speed threshold that you have to fall under for FS to kick in, I just don't see a HB slowing down that much, that often, for it to be of big help. And if he is slowing down that much, he's probably getting tackled.

I have a combo back that is reallying leaning towards being a PB. I have noticed a HUGE difference on these two things specifically: 1.) after he has slowed down due to breaking a tackle (this happens on nearly every run he makes), 2.) after he catches a pass that may have been thrown poorly or he bobbles the catch. Both of these instances he literally looks like he's shot out of a cannon.

What I really like is when he breaks a tackle he gets back up to warp speed almost immediately which makes it harder for the next defender to bring him down.

I think the best SA for him has always been Power Through, after that is has to be First Step.

I think FS has helped my PB quite a bit, even with only 3 or 4 levels in it. Reason being - I have 15 in SYM and Bruiser wtih 25% Break Tack Bonus...But every time I break a tackle I slow down and it gives other defenders time to get on me before I can get down the field.

The more tackles you break, the more times you slow down and have to get up to speed again.
