I'm wondering when its good to put SPs into these and which are the best for a balanced receiver.

First Step, Quick Cut, and Sticky Hands are the best for WRs imo.

I would wait until later in their career to spend points in SAs though.

lvl 38 is a good time, that's when your auto-level bonuses go down again and you get less benefit from hitting attribute caps, which you want to take advantage of before putting anything into SAs

also I agree generally the first 2 on each tree are worthwhile. sticky hands good in combination with mr. reliable and clutch to be a chain mover. if you are a tall possession receiver with high jumping, then jump catch can be good. if you have high agility and get + fake chance % aeq and put VA points into Quick Feet, then the other 3 on the speedster tree can be good.

Your agility doesn't really need to be THAT high. Even lower 70's is adequate to get the job done with that EQ/VA set up.
