I am looking to build an OLB and this will be my first attempt.

Does anyone have tips on how to build one at the low levels so come the higher levels he will be good enough?

Get agility and speed really high at first. I'm talking 4th capped. A lot of people worry too much about tackling early on when it isn't necessary. I would say Agility>Speed>Vision as the top priorities. Some people might even say vision over speed because of the gains though. Then after that you can worry about strength/tackling. Also if you can get some make tackle AEQ that can help make up for the low tackling early on. If you are LOLB you'll also need jumping.

Some people worry about confidence and stamina, but I recommend saving those for last. If you have them trained around 25-30 you should be okay for a while at least.

I would do agility and vision first. Train them, soft cap both, Train speed and agility, third cap agility, train speed tackling, fourth cap agility, third cap agility, third cap speed, soft cap tackling, train strength/tackling, soft cap strength, fourth cap speed...something like that anyway.
