What are the most important attributes, in order, for MLBs?

Link

I went with:
Strength - 61
Tackling - 61
Strength - 68
Agility - 61
Speed - 61

Agility/Speed - 68 or Stamina 49 now training Vision/Confidence

Defense General to 8 (at least) still training Vision/Confidence

Vision that low? I tend to hit that closer to first with agility, but I am no expert on LBs.

No, all of the attributes have to be high.

I'd say:

Speed>Agility>Strength>Tackling>Vision

But I wouldn't build in that order.

For a MLB I'd go with 70 Agility - 65 Speed - 60 Strength - 55 Vision and Tackling as an example, or a ratio like that.

Personally, I don't think 2 capped str/tck is enough. I've got an OLB who misses tackles all the time on wrap up with 64/64 str/tck

I went with this plan on my MLB build:

3 cap str
3 cap tck
2 cap agi
2 cap spd
===========> currently here @ level 37
future plans:
cap vision
(continue training jum/vis or vis/con)
3rd cap agi
3rd cap spd
3rd cap vis
...everything else.

MLB build plan: 3 cap everything.

Say it takes 50-51 levels to third cap the main 5 attributes. imo you also want to soft cap jumping, stamina, and confidence, although you do it much later and after much more training, so say those take 2 levels each. That's 56-57. Say you fourth cap one attribute for 4 levels with some leftover, puts you around 60. You could either fourth cap a second attribute or go heavy on SAs. imo you'll want at least 3 levels worth of SA, but that's personal, I'm sure some people have none. For MLB if you want DGen, it's a stretch to think you'd get two pieces of AEQ for it imo, one is rare enough. I'd rather get one DGen, one shed block or MH, and one SV, make tackle %, or FF %, depending on build.

And yes it's not that different from an OLB. This is how I'd build a 4-3 MLB that's more of a sideline to sideline player. A pure run stuffing 3-4 ILB I think I'd def fourth cap strength early and probably fourth cap agility, then load up on shed blocks & plan to take blockers head on. (2 pc eq +74 > 90 in both strength and agility).

Wow, you'll be in for a big surprise at about AAA level.

I can't imagine playing MLB at Pro with anything less than 80 STR. 90 being ideal.

60 tackling is plenty if done right.

I don't see how you assumed strength couldn't get to 80+.
