What? I'm guessing you are talking about the conference and not my team. We have proven we can compete with elite silver and gold teams this season. If you meant our conference.....Our conference didn't have another elite silver team but did have 6 or 7 other teams that were pretty good. I had players on the Wee Lads, and there was a significant gap between the Lads and the top 3 in your conference. My conference didn't have another elite silver but the Hustlers, Iron Hogs, Dark Matter, Butte Pirates, and StarFleet were all better than the Lads.

One of the reasons I put S7 #1 is that GLB , Crib, Georgia Assualt, Final Thought all had a lot of boosters for the playoffs. That made the road for GLB especially tough since they have had to face all the other boosted elite teams in their conference and now face Georgia Assault,

Playoffs are what really matters if your goal is to get to Gold.

My point was that it is pretty irrelevant. But I'll bite.

The crabs are a great team, we used to have fun talking trash with Dony back in copper, it impressive to see his team has caught up with his mouth, cuz it was pretty big if I remember correctly.

But there are only two other teams in there that play at a high level the Cows and Scumdogs, Crib, FT, GLB, and Georgia are right there with the Crabs, and UFC is comparable to the cows and scumdogs. Eugene and Irish would have a shot at the conference title games in S8. It's really not close.

But we're arguing about being the skinniest kid in fat camp.

Still something to do I guess.

With that said... I would still give the nod to Silver 7 as the toughest Silver league. Silver 1 is very good too.

The way I would rate it - if a Gold team ( from this year) with an above .500 record were put into each Silver league - how many games would they have to gameplan for. assuming they played all the teams.

That's why I think Silver 7 is probably #1

I'd say they have 4 elite Silver teams and 2 really strong ones ( UFC , Eugene )

Silver 1 - Atlantic City, Boston Avengers, West Side, Balt Gulls, Boise


I disagree ...I think maybe 2 teams would be worthy of game planning for each of those leagues, and S8 have at least 3, maybe 4 worth game planning for: Shamrocks, Crabs, Cows, Scumdogs ...if Butte had of not suffered from an inactive list this season, then maybe 5 teams would have been worth game planning for in S8! ...I say this because some of those teams from those other leagues were running 2 dimensional offenses this season - mostly just running power backs up the middle ...no need to game plan for that ...nothing complicated to consider ...just need to have the right builds to cater for that

are you really telling me that in GLB/FT/CM conference, theres only 2 in which a gameplan is needed? are you out of your mind?
and dont talk about the butte pirates and how they could of been, they sicked. you sounds like an idiot bringing them up.

I'm not dissing the Lads... it's a fact that their overall their builds were not up to par. I was on the team, I had access to their builds. They were not close to an elite team build wise. Not close. Their coaching did a HELL of a job to stay within 50 points of you guys in the playoffs. Your conference was top heavy. There's nothing wrong with that because it only takes 1 team to knock you out of Silver. You guys beat all the top teams in your conference and Georgia Assault. You made it happen and that's all that matters.

Just like you guys were talking about Crib, Final Thought, before the season started.. and I believe people were picking Butte or Cows to come out of S8. Well, glad the Cows could get some shout outs in here. Shamrocks should have got more love. Monarchs from earlier in the season were for real until both the Cows and Monger beat them and sent them CPU. Silver #8 is a damn tough league. We never gameplan for tourneys or scrims as me and the DC do alot of OC/DC duties around GLB, but when the playoffs roll around we take things seriously so look at our schedule and you might be deceived by how tough it would be to win in our league/conference.

Either way we are taking the "Mooo" up to the big league, and we will do our best to rep Silver #8 well.

butte was very good last season, but thats last season. and indeed the whole conference was lucky this was a down year for them.
