I rolled a +2 Jumping +1 Superior Vision (shirt) and a +1 Shutdown Coverage (gloves) piece for my LV 18 LOLB. I bought them both, but was wondering which one would be best to pair up. This early in his career I should be able to fully upgrade 3 pieces of AEQ for the long haul. Chances are I will jump on the first one to pair up, but was just curious as to peoples thoughts of which is the better piece. Thanks.

I don't think it's necessary to pair either. SD coverage is fairly effective at 4-5. SV is more effective @ 7 or 8 than it is at 4 or 5 but for OLB I don't know that it's necessary to get it that high...something that helps tackling/forcing fumbles might be better.

Thanks Darren, I see what you mean. This player I'm building is being built as a coverage guy. By level 30ish, I should have Speed, Vision, and Agility all third capped. I'm not much on the force fumble stuff though. I scout for 2 teams, and I'm seeing a big decline in fumbles across the board, so I don't know if it would be worth it. I have a LV 27 LB with 61 Strength/ 63 Tackling/ 75 speed/ 75 Agility who was slowbuilt for 1 season, and has played on power tackling all season. He has 70+ tackles (1 missed) and only 1 FF all year. I think I will search for a break block % and make tackle piece though. Thanks.

Yea making tackles/general run support should probably be higher priority for a coverage LOLB. If you can't shed & make tackles you can be a liability, even if your build "looks" great on paper.
