My PC at work shows replays faster than normal but I was still shocked watching the WR speed burst chasing the ball on this play.

Ballhawk maybe ?

Here's what I think:

Go frame by frame. When the QB begins his arm motion the WR is pretty well covered. IMO he is attempting to lead the WR with his throw. That IMO would indicate he would throw the ball longer so the WR could catch up. I do think BallHawk came into play on this throw.

BH doesn't work for wide receivers in this game.
