Does strength for a WR increase by itself over time?

In the early seasons I didn't think so, but after the plethora of knocked out passes and the like,
strength and carrying became paramount in holding onto the ball.
I've been training like a mofo to get my strength on both my WR's in the 40's (natural) for one and 50 for the other.
I've had one "drop" with 87 receptions with one guy and one "drop" with 32 receptions for the other guy.
Yeah, I think strength is important
