I was thinking of making an FS with high vision. Let me know what you all think of this this for a build.

split EQ into speed and vision or purhaps put all EQ into vision

No. He will get to the places he needs to be easily. Its all about having a DC who knows how to use a FS too. Im talking about the option of splitting EQ evenly between speed and vision btw.

So your saying this FS could keep up with a WR that has 130+ speed? Even if they could you'd destroy them with runs when the DC was trying to cover WR's.

If you had 81 base vision, I would dump all EQ into speed, then max Football Genius.

90 vision + Football genius is all you really need.

If you go 81 vision, i'd split EQ: 1 vision, 3 speed pieces

Problem: WR has 130 speed
Solution: Play loose, and FS has 100 vision and 90+ speed with EQ. With AEQ you add Super Vision and First Step + Football Genius VA.

???

Wouldn't this provide a faster reaction time which means you get to the WR quicker?

Most people will say that FS needs to be the fastest position on the field . . . not because of man coverage, but because as the last man back he needs to be able to chase down speed backs, etc . . . to prevent big plays.

I love vision, but once it gets that high there are definitely diminishing returns. There's never going to be a point where you never get faked, but after awhile it's not really worth investing in vision.

I like 110 speed 80 vision much better than 90 speed 100 vision for covering 130 speed.

as mentioned earlier the bonus from vision decreases significantly the higher you get it...whereas speed doesn't seem to have the same rate of diminishing returns...
