Quick question...which am I better off with:

2 AEQ pieces of First Step (eventually a 10 in FS)

or

1 AEQ First Step / 1 AEQ Shed Blocks

?

Thanks. in advance, for all help.

Long term, I'd want 2 FS. You can get SB up naturally, and FS is much much better when it's high rather than low. 5 is way worse than 10 in FS (worse than half as good), and that's what you'd have with 1 and 2 FS pieces by level 56, respectively.

But I took one of each on my non-booster because he'll never sniff 56 and both pieces have excellent second stats. Shed block is overall more key than FS, for sure, for any DT I'd rather have 10 SB than 10 FS.

I agree with this, but I would rather have 10 FS and 10 SB than 20 SB.

Definitely. So 2 FS is good for slowbuilding boosters but maybe not for non-boosters like my DT. Plus I got my SB piece with +% shed block so I can't not use it, basically.

I have a pass rushing DT with 2 pieces in First Step and he's starting to bounce around. He's consistently going against much higher levels so eventually he should get some production out of it.

Both of my DTs use two pieces of FS and I like it pretty well.
