my dt plays backup for both nt and dt. i have a choice between a tunnel vision with +3 jumping, or blitz with +2 speed. i can upgrade either immediately 4 times. which is more useful?

I wont give a name because this player isn't mine but he has jumping 61 capped and has a Diving tackle AEQ piece... and hes doing very well. I say if you threw a TV peice in there as well you would be beastly... Kinda risky but that the fun of the game IMHO.
Good luck!

I'd take the TV, since I'm still not convinced Blitz actually helps D-linemen
back in the days of sack-friendlier seasons, just about anything faster than grandma could generate sacks

i ended up decided to trash another AEQ so now I have 3 fully upgraded: blitz, TV and shed blocks. we'll see if I get any sacks from it.

I just know I have a DT with ~80 speed. 100+ agility/strength and 10 blitz/11 shed blocks who still can't get a sack to save his life. (and couldn't last season either)

If you can get owner to swing it, you may want to try taking some out of strength and agility and getting speed to 90.

I think too often that people forget the purpose of the NT and DT is to clog up the middle. my LGs feast on agile but weak DTs.

I think too often people forget that DTs can serve other roles than taking up blockers.
