Nope. The spreadsheet is pretty good, but once a team guts, it hurts. Later in the season, once most teams have played that team, it evens out. I have tried, over the seasons, many ways to try and counter, and putting in a reasonable score is the best way.

depending on how the spreadsheet is setup, can you not go ahead and add in the score for upcoming weeks. You could put in 0-50 losses against the CPU team for very week now.

I did try that once, but it screws up the prediction output since there are scores already in for the week being predicted. And it does not seem to help the other scores either, at least when I tried it in season 8.

I would have expected a 1 or 2 point game either way. I think part of the problem is that you are the only team in alpha that played the gutted Wheatfield. When a team guts, I need to set all their scores the same. I tried 80-0 last season, but that still seemed to inflate things, esp early. So this season I went to 50-0. Since you have that big win, it may have jumped things a few points.

But it is what it is (I hate that saying). I put the numbers in and you guys see what it spits out.

that sucks then, def appreciate the rankings either way. I also got tons of respect for Buda you guys have an awesome team over there.... even if you guys want to steal our underdog role

Try putting in 50-3 instead of 50-0.

You did, but if you leave in the real scores pre-gutting, and then put in 255-0 or 80-0 or 50-0 post gutting, since the predictions are based strictly on math, it makes the teams that beat them by the post-gutting scores much stronger than they are.

I will try 50-3 to see if it makes a difference.

50-3 makes the scores a little different, so I will try that and see how it works.
