On plays where my fullback is lead blocking for me or I have a guard pulling my RB tends to out run them at times where it would have been beneficial for him to wait for the lead blocker to block someone before taking off. Is there a way to get my RB to be more patient and do this?

no...unless you slow down your HB or speed up the other guy

vision will do it some of the time if you have enough. HBs with high vision do a lot better job of using blockers than low vision HBs do.

This sounds like a slow FB/G problem. If the HB isn't hitting the right hole or isn't following the lead properly, then it's a vision issue.

Sounds like the FB/G need to get their speed up....

Honestly your a lvl 16 and spd is the first thing you did.... the positions that block for you..

spd is the 3rd or 4th or sometimes lower on the list of things so you wont be getting much of a true lead block for a little while.

Speed is pretty much the last thing you do for a FB

If you're building your FB right, it is.

I am starting to think that the higher elusive running style you are at the more he may wait. i have noticed my back slowing during runs so blockers can catch up and make their blocks.
