Recoverable? I'm not interested in retiring and starting over mostly because I'm just enjoying playing the game, but I realize that I've made some significant mistakes in the build (principally NOT focusing on speed).

Yes. Hate to say it, but you need to start over. Join a peewee team and you can to have some fun out of the gate, but realistically if you keep this player he is never going to be good, Shoot me a PM if you'd like, and I can help if you're absolutely set on keeping him.

No need to be sorry! I'm a "go it alone" kind of guy often and that got me into trouble here!

I'd just keep dumping points into Speed and Vision till you get them to their next Cap .. 60 and 48 ... don't waste any points in SA's ... the hardest part of recovering that build is your training, you don't really have any nice combo's that will aid your turnaround ... what I'd consider is daily training and use the tokens to shop for better AE .. you might get lucky and hit something more useful than Wrap Up and Diving Tackle .. your build has lots of strength and tackling already .. find better SA Equip.

Your player is only a Level 23 ... it may take you a couple seasons to turn this guy around but you can do it ...

That's what I was thinking. I've just been daily training speed w/shopping and hoping for something better. I had a +2 Vision/+1 SuperVision but considering that I really need speed it had to go!

that was a mistake.
thats a great peice of AEQ for a SS

ask your owner for $ to get new EQ if you dont have enough.
and put all that into speed, and get rid of your current EQ.
